What began as a Redemptorist-led Home Mission in 1987, has resulted in the formation of three main neighbourhood prayer groups representing the Serangoon Garden, Serangoon North and Serangoon Avenue

areas. Catholic families residing these areas come together regularly to pray and enjoy Christian fellowship and neighbourliness, like Christmas parties, school holiday outings, picnics and trips to neighbouring countries. The months of May and October are specially designated for praying the Rosary at home, The aim of these groups is to involve as many parishioners as possible within the neighbourhood to participate in the spiritual and social activities of the community.
